Xmas Lunch for Reformed Youths of Moresby North-East

By Judith Kasek – EM TV, Port Moresby

Reformed youths from the Port Moresby’s North – East electorate providing security for public commuters at the Gordon’s Unagi bus stop, are encouraged to continue their work in the community.

Women in Business Executive Director, Janet Sape and NCD Metropolitan Superintendent, Andy Bawa visited them, to not only encourage the youths but to also give them lunch.

A week after the youths surrendered fire arms signifying their turning away from negative practises, these youths have now taken to protecting women and children.

They will be seen directing buses to designated areas, making sure traffic on the road is free, and the public is safe from bag snatching and pick pocketing.

The youths were treated to lunch today by Women in Business Executive Director, Janet Sape who said that Women in Business would support the youth.

NCD Metropolitan Superintendent, Andy Bawa encouraged the young men to continue their work to change the city.

The electorate has been quite so far, with no major incidents reported in the area and throughout the rest of the city.
