DAULO DISTRICT RECEIVE TWO NEW VEHICLES TO BOOST ITS SERVICES

THE member for Daulo district Ekime Gorosahu has presented two new vehicles to the Asaro Clinic and Watabung police respectively to boost services in the district.
The two ten-seater Land Cruisers; one an ambulance and another, a police vehicle will now be used to serve the people.
During the presentation yesterday Gorosahu said the police vehicle was purchased through the National Gaming Control Board (NGCB) following the request from his office, while the fully kitted ambulance was purchased by the Daulo District Development Authority through its District Service Improvement Program or DSIP funds.
“Thank you DDA for Daulo, NGCB and the people of PNG for your contribution to enable us to have these vehicles,” Gorosahu said.
Moreover, Watabung Rural Police station Commander Sargent Anix Anigura upon receiving the vehicle said it will help them serve their people along the Highlands highways.
“I extend my gratitude to the members for Daulo for recognizing the hardship we go through,” Sargent Anigura said.
“Watabung itself is one of those areas where we have problems, especially small crimes and we need mobility. We have another vehicle running but it is an old one and we struggle to maintain it. This one is going to help us carry out our duties to assist and help our people.” He added.
Sargent Anix further thanked the Daulo DDA and the people of PNG through NGCB for the vehicles.
