PASSAM SMART LIGHT

An innovative Solar Smart Light integrated with Offline E-Library System called Danny Bianca and Eliab or DBE Smart Light, was officially launched by Passam National School of Excellence in East Sepik Province.

DBE Passam Smart Light was developed by the school’s grade 11 Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) students and teachers as a class project.

DBE Passam Smart Light represents a significant leap in the realm of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics education, providing offline access to an extensive library of digital resources, e-books, and educational materials.

The Smart Light integrated with Offline E-Library System is an excellent opportunity to showcase the transformative impact it can have on education accessibility through the STEM education program in PNG.

The Passam National School of Excellence STEM program is only in its 3rd year of implementation, and is already producing results from the curriculum implemented in the school.

Present to witness the launching were Dr Clement Waine and team from STEM headquarters in Port Moresby, and Mr Wilson Gau, Executive Officer of Wosera Gawi District and other dignitaries.
