Mt. Hagen General Hospital Give New Facelift To Its Children’s Out-Patient Department

By Vasinatta Yama – EMTV News, Mt Hagen

Lack of space for overnight observation, treatment and consultation will be a thing of the past for Mt Hagen General Hospital.

A major renovation to the children’s out-patient department will provide fresh air, and space for the patient and the health worker.

Western Highlands Provincial Health Authority renovated the building at a cost of K350, 000 .00, a continued effort to provide a healthier and friendly environment for children.

The new look will have a bigger waiting area for patients, more consultation rooms, overnight observation beds, separate showers and toilets for patients and clinicians, and bigger treatment area.

The building will be completed and opened by mid-March this year.
