By Lil9ian Sopera Keneqa – EMTV News, Port Moresby

The Department of Personnel Management will commence a nine-month leadership training program beginning this week. The Future Leaders Program will train on developing core public skills including leadership capabilities, strategic thinking and policy development.

The program is a part of the Pacific Leadership and Governance Precinct, a partnership between PNG and Australia and has seen 132 public servants successfully complete this program since 2017.

A participant, Rayleen Wally, an accounts examiner with the East Sepik Provincial Health Authority said course was timely for her as a young public servant still finding her voice.
