Up to 400 boxers will travel to Lae for the National Boxing Championships to be held at Mumeng Station in Bulolo, Morobe Province.
The Championships is set for this weekend and will be held over three days starting this Friday.
Host teams Morobe will be fielding in two teams and have prepared well for the Event.
The tournament will help prepare boxers for the PNG Games and the 2015 Pacific Games.
From the tournament, there will be international scouts for potential boxers.
