Noel Zeming’s charisma, almost infectious, and his on-field presence is a huge impact on the team’s overall performance.
Noel has been given the formidable task of filling in the role left behind by Israel Eliab, as captain of the SP PNG Hunters.
His only focus, leading by example, and paving the way forward for the junior Hunters who have recently joined the team.
While Zeming has been named to lead the team against the Panthers this weekend, that does not secure his role as captain.
Marum says, the coaching staff will see how he goes at his first gig as skipper, and following the game this weekend, a proper announcement will be made regarding the team’s co-captains.
Zeming was picked out of the Goroka Lahanis, in the Intrust Super Cup, and is the first Hunters player to surpass 100 points in the ISC – a well-deserved milestone, from a five-eight who was a regular impact player off the bench.
