Yamaros inthe play-off

The Semi- Finals kicks off this Saturday, teams from both Port Moresby and Lae are set for the challenge.

It was an intense tussle for both teams as Yamaros and Mungkas challenged to book a spot inthe semi- finals play-off this weekend.

Mungkas dominated first half ofthe match with strong defense, blocking Yamaros out oftheir goal mouth. Yamaros pushed hard but couldn’tbreakhrough.

It was inthe 5th minute when Mungkas Sandra Berum scored an opening goal and anther one inthe 18th minute.

Towards half time, Yamaros striker Loreata Samson scored a goal leavingthe score as 2-1.

Forty eight minutes into second half Mungkas defender Cathy Horris scored her own goal equalized 2-2 to put Yamaros back inthe race. Two minutes later Loreata Samson scored her second goal to put Yamaros in front.

Mungkas fought hard but disappointedly went down tothe Yamaros ladies 3 goals to 4.

Yamaros looks forward tothe semifinals play off this weekend.
