WORK ETHICALLY

By Edson Kuso, DWU Journalism Student

Members of the Fox 100 Sector Patrol Unit based in Moresby South Electorate in the Nation’s Capital were told to work hard to set precedence in their area of operation.

The members of the police unit gathered at the Badili police station for the Metropolitan Superintendent Inspection parade and were briefed by their superiors. Fox 100-unit commander Detective Senior Constable Kerry Kaman during a briefing with his officers commended them on what they have achieved so far and what areas they need to improve in their line of duty.

Detective Kama said the constabulary is a disciplined organization hence, all officers in all rank and file must work ethically whether they are on or off duty. He also said the Fox 100 unit has been praised for many good things they have been doing in their area of operation and that is something they must maintain.

Detective Kama also told his officers that in order to get promotions they must perform their constitutional duties ethically, and encouraged them to fill in appraisals so they can be assessed on their performance to be promoted.

He further challenged his men to improve in areas where they need to as they begin this New Year.
