Women busing onto political front

Women in Oro Province are bursting onto the political front in numbers to contest the National Elections.

And one of two female candidates for the Ijivitari Open seat Maureen Ambo will be giving her male candidates a run for their money.

The appearance of women in this election is a positive sign of equal participation in once male dominated election in the province.

And the people of Oro have been urged to vote wisely and to give women a chance.

A concerned leader says Ijivitari needs a servant to serve the people and women should be given a fair playing field to contest.
