A Kiribati winner, Mwateiti Areke, was announced as the first AUD25, 000 prize winner of the Pacific Mega Campaign by ANZ.
Mwateiti Areke, a teacher from Kiribati’s outer island of Abainga, was amongst 327,148 entries and selected as winner of the campaign.
Areke accepting her prize was very happy and thanked ANZ for the opportunity they have provided, through the Pacific Mega Campaign program.
The campaign themed “Rewarding Relationship with ANZ”, gave ANZ customers all over the Pacific the opportunity to be apart of the draw and win AUD25, 000 every three months; a total of AUD100,000 throughout the year. The campaign is to run for 12 months, with 11 winners remaining.
Countries include Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Timor-Leste, Kiribati and Solomon Islands.
The products used by customers includes:
– Opening an ANZ Savings or transaction account,
– taking a home loan,
– personal loan, or
– paying bills through internet banking
Each of these products is allocated specific number of chances, including a ‘tripling chance’ if one refinances a loan with ANZ.
ANZ CEO Pacific & CEO Fiji, Vishnu Mohan explained “As a bank fully committed to the countries in which we operate, the Pacific Mega Campaign is a way of simply saying thank you to our existing customers, and also welcome new customers to the mix”.
