WaterPNG has eventually responded to the looming health crisis in Mt Hagen over the city's sewerage issue.
The Western Highlands Provincial Government, the city authority, environmentalist and health officials say there is a problem but no clear solutions are offered.
The head of WaterPNG Raka Taviri however urged landowners to be responsible over threats to sabotage the system.
