Usino Bundi District continues to support and priorit’se education as a key development in the electorate.

Speaking to parents in Saussi, local MP, Anthon Yagama, said education will play a crucial role in changing the district.

“We cannot just sit around and wait, financing schools is the district’s priority to enhance our future generations to change the electorate,” said MP Yagama.

MP Yagama said funds will be provided and people managing it must be accountable for everyone to benefit through the education system.

The Usino Bundi District started supporting students from the district through subsidising of school fees since 2013 including those in the higher education sector.

The funding will see the development of the Saussi High School after seeing an increase in number of students and with the district having only one High School which is Braman.

While thanking the district for the support to students, a parent called for the district to also maintain quality education in order for students score better marks.

“We have to maintain quality over quantity,” said a parent, Abraham Gene.
