Usino Bundi District Presents Acquittals

Usino Bundi District in Madang Province presented its 2013 District Support Improvement and District Service Grants acquittals to the Department of Implementation and Rural Development (D.I.R.D) today.

The 2 reports were presented to Acting Secretary for D.I.R.D, Paul Sai’i, and witnessed by Usino Bundi member Anthon Yagama and district officers. 

 

The reports are for the K10 million DSIP and the K500, 000 DSG funds made last year.

 

Mr Yagama said the funds were used for impact projects in the electorate.

 

He said this has helped a lot in building and improving people’s lives

The physical evidence is presented in documented form today.

 

Acting Secretary for D.IR.D Paul Sai’i thanked the district administration for their efforts in complying with the circular issued on the 13th of December last year for the return of all district acquittals.

 

Mr Sai’i said his officers will go through the reports for compliance procedures.

 

Meanwhile Mr Yagama said the district is prepared to pay a sum of K3.5 million as school fee subsidies for the 590 students attending higher institutions around PNG.
