UN: Planning for Disaster Risk Reduction in PNG

PNG is no exception when disaster risk continues to increase globally, with more people and assets located in areas of high risk.

A team fromthe United NationsOffice for Disaster Risk Reduction has written its second paper on Disaster Rick & Resilience for the post-2015 development agenda.

 

It highlightsthe importance of partnership between stakeholders across sectors like health, education, environment and planning, as an integral part of reducingthe risk of disaster.
