U-17 Men prepares for OFC Qualifiers

PNG’s under 17 Men’s soccer team is into intensive training camp atthPNG Football Academy in Lae.

The 20 men squad has only a week to go beforethe Oceania Football Confederation qualifiers in Vanuatu.

Coach Beb Morris is focused on gettingthe team prepared for the Vanuatu event which he knows won’t be easy for our local boys.

The team is undergoing fitness training involving tactical and structure adjustments giventhe high standard ofthe qualifiers.

PNG is well aware ofthe massive task ahead ofthem and is expecting steep opposition from regional giants, New Zealand, Fiji and hosts Vanuatu.

The team is made up of selected players from Madang and Lae with two players from port Moresby givingthPNG Under 17squad a step inthe right direction.
