The Isapeas were first onthe scene againstthe visitors Enga Mioks.
They trlied to capitalise on home ground advantage butthe Mioks proverdthe better side with an eight point win 24 to 16.
The star studded Vipers were next against crowd favourit’s Goroka Lahanis.
Vipers led fromthe start with two converted tries from Sebastian Pandia and Josiah Abavu.
Their defensive game plan leftthe Lahanis scoreless to half time 20-nil.
Vipers maintainedtheir form inthe second half leaving no room for the Lahanis to score. Bettheir defence began to crumble inthe dying minutes ofthe game.
Competition lLeadersLahanis ran six tries with successful conversions to narrowly clinchthe match 24 to 20.

The Goroka Lahanis have a one point margin with 21 points over Rabaul Guria’s with 20 points to sit on top ofthe Digicel Cup ladder after round 15 matches.
Enga Mioks, Vipers and Snax Tigers are all on 18 points making upthe top five inthe competition.
It’s a must win for bottom ofthe ladder teams to uptheir game to be in contention for the final rounds.
