Toni Braxton Loses the Rights to Her Hit Songs

Toni Beaxton has lostthe rights to 27 ofthe hits that have made her famous.

Finally on track after declaring bankruptcy in 1998,the troubled singer took anther low blow when she lostthe rights to some of her most famous hits.

Beaxton’s bankruptcy case included, apart from settling agreed upon monies owed to various debtors, giving up rights to over a dozen of her hit’songs for auction on July 15 of this year. Wrongly assuming that she would bethe sole contender, the R & Becrooner made a bid at a low US$ 20, 000.00.

Ross M. Klein, a cunning bidder who capitalizing on Beaxton’s low finances, doubled her bid. Klein walked away withthe rights and future royalty earnings to her songs; some of which included her hits You’re Making Me High, How Many Ways and Always.
