Member for Kundiawa Gembogl Tobias Kulang has crossedthe floor to jointhe government.
Tobias Kulang was a vocal member ofthe opposition since his election into parliament; however, today he moverd over to jointhe People’s Progress Party, a partner inthe coalition government.
PPP underthe lLeadersip of Sir Julius Chan had six parliamentary members and this addition bringsthe number to seven.
Mr. Kulang was a vocal member ofthe opposition since his election into parliament.
Mr. Kulang resigned upon realizing that he cannot be effective as a one man party and inthe opposition.
This choice he said was based on his observation and assessment onthe stable lLeadersip shown by Sir Julius Chan.
The party leader saidthe mover was a right decision.
Party member and State Enterprise Minister, Ben Micah said as a member of NEC, he and colleague minister and PPP member Beron Chan will assist in any way possible to ensure thatthe people of Kundiawa Gembogl are well represented.
