Tobaining gives to UNRE

Governor for East New Beitain Ereman ToBeining Junior has pledged twenty thousand kina to supportthe building of a sports complex atthe University of Natural Resources & Environment.

The money will come fromthe East New Beitain provincial administration funds. Mr. ToBeining madethe pledge atthe graduation ceremony in Vudal.

The University of Natural Resources & Environment has been consistent with its infrastructure development plans since 2006. This is evident at every graduation ceremony, where staff, students’ parents andthe community withness official openings of buildings.

This year, Governor of East New Beitain Ereman ToBeining Junior and Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Tommy Tomscoll officiated atthe opening ofthe UNRE Sport Complex.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Philip Siaguru saidthe University’s development roll-plan, which is in line withthe Medium Term Development Plan, is on schedule. He saidthe university was on course to achieving 90% of its plan by 2015.

With UNRE leadingthe province in higher education,the governor also urged stakeholders inthe Province to supportthe University in whatever capacity.
