Sports Minister, Justin Tkatchenko, is confident all four match venues for the women’s world cup will be ready on time.
Minister Tkatchenko said through Government’s support the venues will be completed.
While the team is undergoing vigorous and high intense training under the guidance of Coach Lisa Cole, in preparations for women’s world cup, Sports Minister is adamant the country will move on with the hosting of the World Cup in November.
Minister said, the PNG Government has pushed K30 million in ensuring that all facilities are catered for, while constructions are still continuing to get the venues ready for the big games, come November.
He said, preparations are going smoothly as well as making sure FIFA rules and regulations are taken on Board.
PNG, as the host nation, of the women’s world cup, will go against 15 other countries around the world.
