Technical students graduate

Don Bosco Technical School in the nation’s capital today held their seventh grade 12 Industrial Training Course (ITC) graduation.

Today was a special day for the all-male technical and secondary school students, as it signified the end of one chapter of their lives and the beginning of a new one.

Two-hundred and eighty two students from the Don Bosco Technical School graduated today and received their grade 12 and ITC certificates.

Fr Angel Sanchez, Principal of Don Bosco Technical school said the school’s aim is to provide the best education for its students, both academic and technical.

He also said that many students had withdrawn from the school due to various reasons and he congratulated those who made it through to graduate today.

Lihai Elias received the academic excellence award, while Nouairi Uruguna got the International Training Institute Scholarship award and Mina Harrison received the Sir George Constantinou Hebou Apprentice of the year award.

The graduation today marks a new era for the graduating students as some will continue their education, while others will join the country’s workforce.
