The Trade Mission ofthe Republic of China in PNG andthe Taiwan External Trade Development Council, announced thatthe 2013 Taiwan Trade Fair has been organized.
The fair will be staged in Port Moresby and Lae between 7th tothe 11th of October.
The announcement comes afterthe Taiwanese Trade Mission noticedthe growing interest betweePNG and Taiwan.
Taiwan’s Trade Mission Representttative in PNG Daniel Hu, saidthe fair will strenthenthe bilateral trade betweenthe two countries.
“This event provides local enterprisesthe unique opportunity of meetingthe Taiwanese delegates for discussion on possible business corporation,” he said.
Hu added that 20 dynamic enterprises from Taiwan will exhibittheir products and work with number of businesses inthe region.
Mr Hu was pleased thatthe current government is focusing on Small and Medium EnterpriseInvestments.
Hu said variety of Taiwanese industries will showcase furniture, cosmetics, ICT and electronics, milling machines, energy solutions, and industrial equipment’s and fishing products.
Hu concluded thatthe trade fair should complement botPNG and Taiwan’s economy.
