While Sumkar MP Ken Fairwether is recovering from a broken leg,the Prime Minister&#39’s office will see tothe day to day operations ofthe member&#39’s office.

School fees for Sumkar&#39’s tertiary and high school students’are first priority, to be paid withinthe next month.

Road repairs will also begin as soon asthe wet wether ceases.

A copra price support scheme has been approverd by National Planning and will be implemented with two million kina already released for the cocoa borer fight back scheme.

Prime Minister Peter O'Neill said Sumkar&#39’s Joint District Planning Budget Priorities Committees will continue to meet duringthe member&#39’s absence.
