Studen tIntakes From Secondary To Tertiary Dropped

The number of student intakes from secondary schools inthe Morobe province into tertiary institutions has decreased.

 

That’s according tothPNG University of Technology Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor John Pumwa.

Professor Pumwa said School fights in Lae city isthe main factors contributing towardsthe declining number of student intakes into tertiary institutions nationwide.

 

He told students’from various schools inthe Morobe province duringthe UNITECH’s Open day last Friday thatthere’s no space for them in tertiary institutions ifthey continue fighting.

 

He urged students’in Lae schools to disengage in student violence and focus ontheir studies.
