Tension is still high at Badili followingthe murder of a Goroka man andthe serious injury of anther.
A second injured youth from Kerema was taken tothe hospital late yesterday for serious head and body wounds and burn marks. Withthe help of thers, he was able to evade kidnappers duringthe retaliation raid yesterday.
Unfortunately for his cousin, he was abducted by relatives ofthe deceased and was almost beaten to death had our news crew not alerted police. The news crewthen brought him tothe Port Moresby General Hospital where he is now on medication.
Meanwhilethe murder ofthe Goroka man has been reported to police.
The murder suspect is believed to have escaped to his village inthe Gulf Province.
