The finals of the Special Olympics Futsal Competition will take place at the Rita Flynn Indoor Netball Courts, Port Moresby, this Friday.
The Five-a-side football competition, introduced to encourage Persons Living with Disabilities to participate, was carried out for five months, amongst ten teams.
The Competition is a first of its kind conducted by Special Olympics PNG to create awareness among young people to recognise, socialise and play together with intellectual Disabilities, and know that they can have fun together.
The ten teams that took part are from all over Port Moresby.
The Grand final this Friday will see four teams compete.
The first game will see Red Cross Special School and Gabagaba 1 play for 3rd and 4th Placing.
The second game will be between Cheshire Disability Services and Hohola Demonstration Primary School.
