SP Brewery has joined inthe campaign to address alcohol abuse inthe country.
The beer producer gave ten thousand kina tothPNG Law & Justice Sector Secretariatofor establishing a National Alcohol Advisory Committee.
Secretariat Director Joe Kanekane said addressingthe issue was a difficult path, butthe concept ofthe Government working withthe industry would make a difference.
SP Brewery’s Corporate Affairs Manager Reg Monagi saidthey have started providing community awareness ofthe law, as SP Brewery feels enforcement and awareness ofthe law is lacking.
