‘Together we can’, is the motivating slogan for national unity to support team Kumul for the Pacific Games next month.
Blended in the song by Jagarizzar and Jamie Lee titled “I am, you are, we are Papua New Guinea, Together we can.”
This song is expected to motivate and get Papua New Guineans in one spirit behind team PNG.
Radio stations will start playing the song next week followed by television stations once the video is completed.
In getting the people together in support of team Kumul, Jagarizzar and Jamie Lee’s new song has received financial assistance of K40,000 from State owned National Development Bank, a member of the Kumul Group of Companies.
The money will go towards the production of the song, including a video version.
NDB Managing Director, Moses Liu, believes the theme of this song will give people the feeling of nationality and pride for the country come the Pacific Games next month.
“We believe it is an appropriate theme to unite the country under the banner of our Team Kumul to go for gold,” Liu said.
Present to witness the promotional video of the song was State owned Enterprises Minister, Ben Micah.
Micah was overwhelmed with the lyrics saying this song will be officially sung in all major sporting events where PNG teams participate in.
