Just two weeks after the Morobe provincial government lifted liquor ban in Lae, residents are complaining that there’s an increase in alcohol abuse.
Bottle shops resumed business and the amount of drinking has increased.
But Morobe Governor Kelly Naru says it will take some time before long term solutions to alcohol problems can be found.
