The six suspects arrested by police last week involved inthe brutal attack alongthe Beack Cat Track have been charged with 138 counts ofthe murder of three nationals and attempted murder and grievously bodily ofthe ther porters andthe eight tourists.
The six suspects are expected to appear inthe Lae National court on Wednesday.
Wau Police meanwhile have arrested anther suspect on Sunday in relation tothe attack and killing.
The suspect arrested overthe weekend is from Goilala inthe Central province.
Wau police saidthe suspect is also wanted for a series of armed robberies, rape and murder.
The apprehension ofthe suspect has broughtthe total number of suspects arrested to seven.
The prime suspect is still onthe run.
