The PNG Olympic Committee, stake holders and other cooperate sectors are vying for the most successul Pacific Games in PNG next year.
Sir John Dawanincura said the national federation has provided funding to prepare athletes in their respective teams by organising national training camps, international events and most of the high level competitions, as well as running other programs.
A three-day National Coaching Conference will be held in Port Moresby on the 9th to the 11th as a refresher course for national coaches, team managers and technical officials. A medical training session will also be carried out during the conference.
Chef De Mission General Manager, Leith Isaac also supported the Chef De Mission board for organising to play a big role in helping the PNG Olympic Committee prepare athletes and coaches in all 28 sporting codes.
He said one of the responsibilities is to go to villagers in the Nationals Capital District and make sure all athletes are well managed and prepared for the 2015 Pacific Games.
