Health Authorities in the Western Highlands say they have no option but to close down the Mt Hagen Hospital as the sewerage issue isn’t solved.
Local Moge Kominka landowners have blocked off all sewerage outlets, leaving only one.
The move is in support of their long standing for authorities to fix the sewerage treatment plant that is itself a health and environmental disaster.
