Seven year old in life threatening brain condition

Red Cross Mt Hagen spearheaded a wheelbarrow fundraising drive in Mt Hagen town recently, to assist seven year old Silas Roroh and his family.

Silas has a life – threatening brain condition that needs proper and professional diagnosis.

He has been referred to the Port Moresby General Hospital for a brain scan.

A year ago young Silas developed an abnormal behaviour. Doctors at the Mt Hagen hospital put him on various drugs. However, the drugs were not effective.

His mother Maria said medical expenses will cost 8 thousand kina. She is appealing to the general public to assist in his son’s medical expense.
