Sepik Set for 2014 Sepik Iron Man Competition

Morobe Team’s success inthe Sepik Iron Man Triathlon Event has given local East Sepik team a huge challenge to do better next year.

 

And that’s what Governor and Patron ofthe Competition Grand Chief Sir Michael Somare wants.

A total of 72 teams put up a good challenge inthe Sepik Iron Man competition in Wewak overthe weekend. It was a close but Morobe team Igo Igo proverd too good and came out winners ofthe competition.

 

It was a disappointment to local teams fromthe Province but was an eye opener .

 

Grand Chief Sir Michael was satisflied withthe organization and praisedthe organisors but challenged ther teams to be prepared well next year.

 

Minister for Correctional Services and Member for Wewak Open Jim Simatab and commissioner for Correctional Services Martin Belthazar withnessedthe event .

 

East Sepik Provincial GovernmentoBusiness Houses and individuals inthe Province look forward in making next year a memorable one.
