By Skola Sengi – EM TV News, Port Moresby

With under a week to their first match on the 22nd of this month, the Pukpuks will move under the radar to tighten up on their final preparations.

Aggression is one of the key elements that the team have lacked to project in previous trial matches, nevertheless, they are optimistic.

However, the team have held experience as the main key to driving game plans.

Lae-based, sevens talents, Clifford Vali and Butler Morris will join the likes of Sarufa Kingsley, Wesley Thomas, Tui Fitiao, Samuel Tam in the front row, adding much needed height and weight.

The back-line sees the combination of Brisbane-based Nigel Genia and Richard Aitsi in the play making positions of scrum-half and fly-half respectively. Both having big shoes to fill as debutants.

When asked about his selection Richard Aitsi said, “I’m honoured to be selected among all these boys. And I’m just keen to play pretty much.” Adding that the team is using their structure to work to their game plan.

Genia and Aitsi will join speedstars Wesley Vali and Jacky Marcus, Paul Nelson, brothers, Tisa and Jonah, James Lumaris, Jacob Wodo and Liebert Suang.
