Health Minister Michael Malabagsaidthe Department of Health will divert money intended for Heath Services to providing security for its workers.

“I’d like to put in a very strong condemnation ofthe rape in Lae. I have given directions tothe Secretary to ensure thatthe security of our staff are, especiallythe night shift must have security at all times,” says Minister Malabag.
“If it’s not going to be provided bythe policethey must find private security firms in order to provide security, and that’s a must.”
