A rural aid post in the Kairuku Hiri District of Central Province has received a grant assistance of 50 thousand kina.
Yesterday, Kairuku Hiri MP Peter Isoaimo presented the commitment to the officer in-charge of the health facility.
The funding will help support logistics and maintenance of the aid post.
MP Isoaimo says the 50 thousand kina is part of the 100 thousand promised to improve health services on the Hisiu coastline.
The aid post serves close to 3 thousand people.
