Rugby League World Cup CEO Pleased

Visiting Port Moresby last week, Rugby League World Cup CEO, Andrew Hill met with Sports Minister, Justin Tkatchenko, to discuss the status of the preparation and planning.

Hill visited the Port Moresby City Hall, and met with sponsors of RLWC, and other necessary bodies; this is to make sure all parties were actively involved to make the game a success.

Tkatchenko said, while the stadium is ready for the different teams that will participate in PNG pool matches, training areas will also be provided for this team.

PNG will feature as host partner for the first time in the nation’s history, while looking to capitalise on all the help and support it can receive.

The Rugby League World Cup competition will start on the 27th of October and finish on 2nd December.
