Rigo Activist Raise Concerns On Pala‹¨«s Court Battle

By Eric Haurupma – EM TV News, Port Moresby

Papuan Activist and leader of the Papuan Ena Maori, under Papuan Bersena, Roger McKenzie Digga, has voiced concerns that the people of Rigo District in Central Province should pledge alliance towards their local MP during his court battle.

Ano Pala was investigated by the Ombudsman Commission and referred to by the Police Prosecutor early this year, under leadership tribunal for three counts: perverting the course of justice, attempting to pervert the course of justice and misapplication in office, when he was the Minister for Justice, and Attorney General last year.

However, Digga brushed aside critics made against their local MP and urged Rigo people to work together putting aside all their political differences.

He also acknowledges Ano Pala for bringing tangible services into the district like the newly established health facilities, educational and other necessary developments.
