Referee Clinic

A Billiards and Snooker referees’ course started today in Port Moresby at the Lamana Q Club.  Adam Wyard from the Australia Billiards and Snooker Association arrived in the country yesterday to conduct the week-long course.

About 16 people have signed up to take the course which also includes certified referees who have signed up to further their knowledge of the sport.

PNGBSA President John Chan says this will help the growth of the game in the country.  Examiner Adam Wyard, apart from being Tournament Director of various Australian Open championships and Oceania Titles, is familiar with PNG.

Throughout the week, Examiner Adam Wyard, will be going through all aspects of the game. Wyard’s visit was made possible through the support from Lamana Hotel for the accommodation, and Pacific MMI.
