The Port MoresbyInternational School select side in Beue took onthe Queensland Murri Team in Maroon.

This match is crucial for both sides. POMIS will have to impressthPNGRFL coaching staff to book a spot inthe elite schoolboys’ side, while Murri’s will be finalizing a team for a curtain raiser inthe 2014 ALL StarsIndigenous clash.

POMIS went in as underdogs in this match while Murri were handpicked fromthe best indigenous youth from acrossthe Queensland State and no doubt were in force.

Murris ledthe match by going past POMIS several times inthe opening minutes.

POMIS were a class oftheir own, giving a taste of what has been taught intheir physical education lessons.

Actin PNGRFL Chief Executive Officer Bead Tassell sain PNG FL were happy in assisting this tour and a great opportunity for local boys inthe national schoolboys program to testthemselves against quality international competition.

It is also an opportunity for both cultures to get to know each ther and for the visiting indigenous boys to experience Rugby League in PNG Style.
