Power outage affecting businesses

Prime Minister James Marape says the continuous power outage throughout Papua New Guinea is due to aging infrastructure.

His comments come after a massive Power Cut in Port Moresby that lasted for at least four hours last night.

However it has become expensive for major business houses and hotels  who use standby generators during black-outs.

While this remains a legacy issues, the Marape government says its addressing this, grid by grid.
