Port Moresby Hockey Association played their Round 11 matches over the weekend in both the men’s and women’s divisions. Competitions played each weekend are used by each club for their association tournament that is potentially to take place in September over the Independence long weekend.
With the code gaining momentum, more and more clubs are encouraged to register their teams and become part of the association. The current leaders in the men’s division are Bladez, after defeating third placed United in a strong 3-2 win.
While in the women’s, Bismark is sitting on top of the ladder, remaining undefeated.
With seven more rounds as of this weekend, two men’s and two women’s teams will be selected to play in the finals.
