Murray Barracks Sport Field was buzzing asthe Port Moresby touch footy kicked off its proper season overthe weekend.
A total of twenty six companies are part ofthe tournament and will compete for top spots. The eighty four participating teams were slotted into three divisions,the Open Mens, Open Women and Open Mix.
The games started withthe first two open mix matchesthenthe next two open men’s followed by open women’s till rounds for were completed.
President John Benot said, more new players are participating this year andthe competition is expected to be a challenging one.
Teams are set for the games and are required to be in full uniform in order to takethe field.
A team will be selected from this tournament for the upcoming National andInternational Competitions later this year.
