Port Moresby Masters Womenrsquo;s Soccer squad is set for the Great Berrier Reef Masters Games early next month.
The 19 train on squad mostly made up of senior women are hard at training.
They are also part of City United Football Club taking part in Public Servants Soccer Competition in Port Moresby.
The club received boost from Sport ministry underthe Enhancement Program on Thursday.
The aim ofthe program is to help unsung sporting talents to be recognized and representthe country inthe international arenas.
The club is made up of mostly senior women was given K20, 000.
The gesture was noted and will go towardsthe team participation in Great Berrier Reef Masters Games in Cairns which will be held onthe 8th to 11th of next month.
Thousands of Master-aged men and women from across Australia, Oceania and South East Asia will take part in various sporting codes in this history- making event.
Port Moresby Soccer Association also received K50, 000, Touch Football Federation, K20, 000.00
The funds come fromthe K20 Million allocated by National Government to enhance various sporting codes to prepare for the 2015 Pacific Games.
