POM AFL’s Final Pre-Season Round

Share the News

The recent launch of the Port Moresby AFL pre-season has seen almost 20 teams participating across both men’s and women’s divisions.

The competition will be in its final round of pre-season this weekend.

Some of the oldest teams in the POM AFL men’s division such as the Concept Kobonis, Defence Hawks and West Eagles will put their footy skills to work once again as they hope to take out the title.

West Eagles have joined again this season, after dropping out of the competition 10 years ago, and their match this weekend is a must-watch.

The season proper will be based at the central location of Colts Oval, and hopefully many more around the nation’s capital can come along and participate.

Organisers are saying the competition will be providing players for Team NCD and Team Central for the PNG Games this November in Kimbe.
