A Christmas PNG Police Tradition

Senior police officers have served and given food to junior police officers to honour a tradition known in the disciplinary force as, Spirit de Corp.

Assistant Commissioners from both the administration and operation arms of the Constabulary took part in serving food for junior officers, at the Recruits Mess at Bomana this morning.

These senior officers include, Chief Inspectors Ivan Lakatani, acting ACP Human Resource, Donald Yamasobi, Director of Crimes and Sylvester Kalaut, head of NCD and Central Commands. 

The tradition is honoured during the Christmas week of every year. Over 300 new recruits and 100 regular police took part in this tradition.
