By Vasinatta Yama -EMTV News, Hagen

A PNG Teachers Association member, David Numbaming [NOOM-BA_MING] refutes claims that he is not a PNGTA member, and he does not have the legal standing to talk on behalf of the teachers.

Numbaming recently called on the PNGTA National Secretary, Ugwalubu Mowana not to represent teachers stating that he has no legal standing, due to a pending Court case on the legality of his position.

However, Ugwalubu rebut stating Numbaming is not a PNGTA member and he should not talk.

Numbaming says he contributes K45 of his salary to PNGTA for the last 15 years and he has the right to talk.

He was also granted leave by the Waigani National Court in 2017 to talk on behalf of teachers.
