PNGRFL pays for Nami’s Knee surgery

PNG Rugby Football LeagueInterim Chariman Don Fox has announced its contribution of Ten thousand kina towardsthe knee surgery cost of Kumul Player Glenn Nami.

Fox said this is to give Nami a chance to take part in this year’sWorld Cup.

The injury occurred while playing for the Lahanis inthe Digicel Cup Competition last year. It was diagnosed when he arrived atthe recenPNG Residents camp in Sydney for the Cabramatta 9’s andthe South Sydney match.

The scan revealed thatthe injury was a torn ACL and requiring knee reconstructive surgery.

The matter was raised duringthe board meeting in Kokopo andthe Beard agreed to makethe contribution.
